EA Teases Two Mystery Titles, Including Possible ‘Dragon Age: Dreadwolf’

Videogame publisher EA revealed on May 7 that it has two unannounced titles expected to launch within the current fiscal year. 

While details remain scarce, speculation suggests that one of these projects could be “Dragon Age: Dreadwolf,” a long-awaited addition to the acclaimed series. Despite previous hints and leaks from reputable journalist and insider Jeff Grubb, EA has remained tight-lipped about the specifics of these upcoming releases.

With “Dragon Age: Dreadwolf” absent from the official lineup, some speculate that EA may refer to unannounced release dates rather than entirely new projects.

However, recent claims by Grubb reaffirm the possibility of “Dreadwolf” making its debut this year, possibly even at upcoming showcases hosted by major platform holders like Xbox and PlayStation.

The second game is categorized as a “Partner title,” a designation often given to games published by EA but developed by external studios. It resembles recent releases such as “Tales of Kenzera” and “Immortals of Aveum.” This project is slated for release in the fourth quarter of the financial year, from January 1 to March 31, 2025.

Besides these mystery titles, EA’s lineup for the year is largely occupied by sports games, with highlights including the release of EA Sports College Football 25, Madden 25, and FC 25 slated for this autumn. It’s worth noting that these titles are centered around American football rather than soccer.

Following this, NHL 25 is expected to debut sometime in winter.

With traditional events like E3 no longer on the calendar, gamers will keep a close eye on upcoming showcases for any hints or confirmations regarding the release date of Dragon Age: Dreadwolf and the new “Partner title.”
