A global survey released by Cisco in 2011 revealed that one in three respondents rated Internet access as important as air, food, shelter and water. In other words, they couldn't live without it. In fact, many young workers rated Internet access and the ability to use social media at work as being important enough to consider giving up opportunities for advancement and higher salaries.
